The 2026 Game-Day Report

What it costs to buy a beer at 111 NHL, NBA, NFL and MLB venues, how accessible those venues are, what you can bring through the gates, and how the 2026-27 TV landscape changed for fans. Every figure comes from our October 2026 research of official team and venue pages, news reports and venue reviews, and the full dataset is free to reuse.

Key findings

  • The cheapest standard beer we could confirm is $5.00 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium (Atlanta); the priciest is $17.00 at Chase Center (San Francisco), 3.4 times as much.
  • Across the 38 venues with a confirmed price, a standard beer averages $11.86, or $0.76 an ounce where the size is known. Only 5 venues' prices are confirmed for this exact season; many teams don't publish menus with prices.
  • 60 of 111 venues are KultureCity sensory-inclusive certified or partnered, and 71 list a sensory room or quiet space.
  • 43 of 111 venues require clear bags, and only 9 allow any kind of re-entry.
  • Local sports TV was upended: FanDuel Sports Network shut down, CBC lost Hockey Night in Canada, and streaming services now hold exclusive weekly windows in Canada.

Stadium beer prices

The standard price is the normal walk-up price of the cheapest regular-size domestic beer at ordinary stands, all game. Value menus at a few stands, happy hours, pregame specials and souvenir cups don't count. Prices in USD; Canadian venues (†) converted at 0.73. Sizes differ, so the per-ounce ranking compares them fairly.

Method, sources and reuse

Prices were researched in October 2026 from official team menus and venue pages, news reports, venue reviews and a 2024-25 survey of NBA arena prices, then checked source by source by a second reviewer. Each price is labelled Verified (official or observed this season), Recent (observed within two seasons) or Estimate; where sources conflict we don't publish a price. Prices vary by stand and size and may change.
