Lower bowl along the ice; the Saddledome's curved roof makes the top press-level rows feel far — aim lower. An older barn with a loud, old-school vibe.

Parking

Stampede Park lots around the 'Dome; pricey on event nights. The CTrain is easier. ($15–30 CAD)

Getting there

CTrain (Red Line) to Victoria Park/Stampede — right at the door, and free within the downtown zone.

Bar scene

17th Ave SW (the 'Red Mile') is a short CTrain hop and is Calgary's bar strip — it erupts after Flames wins. The grounds area itself is thinner.

Pre-game bars

• National on 17th — Big beer hall on the Red Mile.
• Trolley 5 Brewpub — 17th Ave brewery, lively post-game.
