Best seats

2026-27 is the Wings Event Center Farewell Season before the K-Wings move to a new arena in downtown Kalamazoo, so it's a last chance to see the old barn. Colored-ice games are the ones to catch.

Parking

On-site lots off Sprinkle Rd and Vanrick Dr open 90 minutes before doors. Parking was still cash-only at last update, though the venue says it's moving to cashless. Leave extra time, because traffic backs up getting into the lot. ($10 (VIP front lot $20 if available) USD)

Getting there

Take I-94 to Sprinkle Rd (exit 80), go south 1/8 mile to Vanrick Dr, then west to the arena lot. Signs on I-94 point you to Portage Rd (exit 78), but Sprinkle Rd is the direct route.

Bar scene

The arena sits in a commercial area off I-94 rather than a downtown bar district, so most of the scene is inside the building.

Insider tips

• Clear bag policy: one clear bag up to 12" x 14" x 6" (or a gallon Ziploc) plus a clutch up to 4.5" x 6.5". Use Door 2 if you have no bag.
• The building is fully cashless inside, but bring cash for parking.
• You can bring an empty water container under 32 oz.
• Five colored-ice games: Orange (Oct 31), Lavender with the Teddy Bear Toss (Nov 28), Rainbow (Jan 30), Pink (Feb 6) and Green (Mar 13).
• There's no re-entry, and you go through magnetometers at the doors.
