Best seats

The Rush play in The Monument's Ice Arena (5,136 seats for hockey); Club Seats there have large cushioned seats, cup holders and their own full-service bar and concession stand.

Parking

Over 4,000 free spaces surround the complex: Lots A and B on the west side (enter from Mt. Rushmore Rd.) and Lots E1–E3 on the east (enter from 5th St.). Overflow is in Lot C at Central High School and Lots E4–E5 across from The Journey Museum. (Free USD)

Getting there

From I-90 take Exit 57 (I-190 south), then Exit 1C and turn left on North Street; turn right on Mt. Rushmore Rd. for the west lots or continue to 5th St. for the east lots.

Bar scene

Downtown Rapid City (Main Street Square, Art Alley) is just steps from The Monument, with breweries and restaurants for before or after the game.

Pre-game bars

• Firehouse Skybox Sports Bar — Hosts official Rush watch parties (e.g. the 2026-27 season opener).

Insider tips

• No building-wide clear-bag rule; it's set per event, and every bag gets searched along with metal detectors at the door.
• No outside food or drinks; glass bottles and metal cans are banned.
• Wait until the puck is out of play before going back to your seat.
• Pucks that fly into the stands are yours to keep.
• Re-entry needs both your ticket and a hand stamp, and some events are no re-entry.
