Parking

On-site lots at the SOEC complex (corner of Eckhardt Ave W and Highway 97) are free for Vees games; $20 pay-and-display applies only to major events and concerts. (Free for Vees games CAD)

Getting there

The SOEC sits at 853 Eckhardt Ave W at Highway 97, about 10 minutes from Penticton Regional Airport and roughly 50 minutes from Kelowna. Drop-off and pick-up is on the south side at Gate 1; BC Transit serves the area.

Bar scene

No bar district right at the arena; the Vault Bar & Grill inside and the Beer Boulevard concession are the in-building options, with downtown Penticton's pubs and breweries a short drive away.

• The Vault Bar & Grill — Full-service restaurant on the SOEC concourse; reservations by email to SOEC-reservations@oakviewgroup.com.
• Cannery Brewing — Penticton craft brewery; Vees Blue Card partner (15% off draught beer).

Insider tips

• Clear bag policy: clear bags up to 12"x12"x6" or a 1-gallon freezer bag plus a small clutch up to 4.5"x6.5"; no bag check on site.
• Doors open one hour before puck drop (90 minutes for club-seat dinner reservations).
• Parking is free for Vees games.
• Alcohol cannot leave the venue, and purchases are capped at two drinks per buyer at most events.
• Penticton joined the WHL in 2025-26, so this is still a new-league crowd in an arena built for bigger events.
