Best seats

The arena is built into a hillside and holds about 6,000. You enter at street level at the top of the bowl, and the new video board is easy to see from anywhere.

Parking

Paid lots are on site and in and around Riverside Park off Lorne Street, plus on-street parking. Locals suggest parking uphill on Lansdowne, Victoria, Seymour or 2nd–4th Avenues and walking down.

Getting there

300 Lorne Street, beside Riverside Park on the South Thompson River and two blocks from downtown Kamloops.

Bar scene

Downtown's Victoria Street restaurants are a two-block walk, and a couple of spots right across the street are popular for a pre-game drink.

• Bags discouraged: only clutches or belt bags up to 6.5" x 8.5" or clear bags up to 12" x 12" x 6"; no backpacks and no bag storage
