This is an intimate 4,774-seat downtown barn built in 1979, so nearly every seat is close to the ice.

Parking

The arena doesn't run its own lots. Use the public lots behind it on Oakland Ave and down Mohican St, downtown city lots, or the garage at 50-54 Park Ave. Street parking is free, and the city's time limit is waived during arena events. ($5–20 depending on event; street parking free USD)

Getting there

I-87 (Northway) to Exit 18, then Broad St into downtown Glens Falls and on to Glen St. The arena is at 1 Civic Center Plaza.

Bar scene

The arena is right downtown, and a cluster of breweries, taverns and restaurants sits within a 5–8 minute walk, so dinner and a beer before puck drop is the local routine.

• Backpacks and large bags aren't allowed, and purses must be under 13" x 15".
• Face paint isn't allowed inside.
• For a 7 pm game, sit down for dinner downtown by 5:00–5:30, and reserve on busy nights.
• Free street parking (time limit waived on event nights) saves the lot fee.
