Parking

Downtown Evansville has more than 1,200 spaces in city-owned garages on Third St., Sycamore St. and Locust St., all with paid event parking. The DoubleTree garage and the 200-space Stone Family Center lot behind the arena (enter on Locust St.) also sell paid parking.

Getting there

The arena is at 1 SE Martin Luther King Jr Blvd in downtown Evansville, one block from the METS bus transfer terminal. The main ADA-accessible entrance is the entry plaza off Main Street.

Bar scene

Inside, the Main Street Bar (between sections 121 and 101) and the MLK & 6th Street Bars (near sections 105 and 117) serve cocktails, wine, seltzers and domestic and import beer. The street-level Corner Club at Main & 6th opens 2 hours before most events.

• Main Street Food & Beverage — 900 Main St, listed by the Ford Center as nearby dining.

Insider tips

• Doors usually open 1 hour before puck drop (7:05 pm for most games).
• Bags over 12x6x12 in. aren't allowed, and all bags are searched.
• There is no re-entry, and the building is non-smoking.
• Free Kids Fridays: one free kid's ticket with each adult ticket on select Friday games.
• Use the Thunderbolts game-day 'Deals' page for sponsor discounts, such as hat-trick and shutout rewards, when you show your ticket stub.
