Parking

Parking is free for Mavericks games, first-come, first-served in the arena lots, and grilling and tailgating is encouraged. Other events cost $15 prepaid or $25 day-of, cashless. (Free for Mavericks games USD)

Getting there

In Independence's Little Blue Pkwy / Independence Center shopping area, on E. Valley View Pkwy off I-70 exit 17 (Little Blue Pkwy) or I-470 to US-40. Lyft is the arena's official rideshare partner.

Bar scene

The free lot makes tailgating the main pre-game scene. The surrounding retail strip is mostly chain restaurants and sports bars.

Insider tips

• Parking is free for Mavericks games, so bring the grill.
• Doors open 60 minutes before puck drop at Gates 1 and 2.
• Bags can't be larger than 12" x 6" x 12", and backpacks are banned.
• The venue is cashless; only the box office takes cash.
• Chuck-A-Pucks for the second-intermission toss are sold outside Section 112.
